ANZAC LETTERS

Each school in New Zealand set up a field of remembrance to honour and remember those from New Zealand who served and fell in WW1.
As a class we went to our field of remembrance and chose 5 names of those fallen, so that we could wear our poppies to remember them on ANZAC day.

B.E. Mercer
W.J. Shaw
H.J. Nicholas
Nurse C.A. Fox
and D.F. Brown

We also wrote letters to these brave people who sacrificed so much for us.

We took our letters to the field of remembrance, sang the national anthem, sat in silence to remember and read our letters.
